Worship Services at Cascade Presbyterian Church are happy occasions.

University of Oregon RUF Minister David Rapp preached today. After the Services, he announced that he was leaving Oregon and heading back to Texas to plant a Church near his hometown. We need pray about the RUF ministry at the U of O, as it does not appear that there will be another man called to this work. This will create a big hole in the Reformed Community in Eugene. If it is to be filled, Cascade will have to do it.


Here's the lovely and gracious Gretchen, doing what it is that Pastor's wives do. She does it very, very well.


Here's Reg. He a Deacon Emeritus and was one of the first friends I made in Eugene.


The man on the left is Marlon Fletchall. He has been a stalwart Ruling Elder at Cascade for many, many years. The former Pastor, Jack Davidson, and Marlon fought long theological battles together. Finally prevailing, they were the only elders at Cascade for many years. It can truthfully be said that Cascade would not be here today, if it were not for the steadfastness of Marlon.
