Colorado 10/2007

Ricky and I head off to Colorado and Utah during his break from Seminary. Seems the students get a week off to catch up on their reading. So we head off, Ricky to get away and read, me to get some needed R & R. For me, if R & R is scheduled, I'm heading for some hot water. We fly in to Denver, pick up the 4x4, which in this case was one of those ever popular crossover all wheel drives - not much of a vehicle. We meet up with my friend, Jamie, a University of Southern Mississippi graduate, who has made Denver home and is a FoJ (Friend of Josh).

He runs the sound systems at many of the sporting events around town. We join Jamie for supper at a neighborhood establishment and watched the Rockies playoff game on the TV, and he put us up at his place.

We met Jamie's cat, Mozart (Mo),

She's a Hattiesburg, Mississippi native. Mo was a stray that would wander into Jamie's college apartment, and he was harassed into adopting her and taking her out west with him. She's quite a lady and let's all Jamie's friends know that it is her house and that she just tolerates Jamie and all his friends being there.
