Oregon 04/2008 - Hot Water

Spent several days checking out the local hot water.



First stop was Cougar Reservoir. It is filling up and should be full soon.


Here is the waterfall in the Lagoon.


Also know as Cougar Hot Springs.

The hike in takes you through a sylvan forest:







Had the pools to myself.







Next, it was on to Umpqua Hot Springs. Ran into snow and trees blocking the road. Had to turn back 3 times before getting back to Eugene.




Made it to the parking lot, just about the first to make it this year and hiked up the hill to the springs. Nobody else there.
