We stop and take the waters at Terwilliger (Cougar) Hot Springs.

And take a cooling dip in the Cougar Lagoon.

Next stop was Deer Creek Hot Springs. We didn't qualify here.

But Asa did make a new friend, say hello to Floyd!

Next stop was a hike to the Blue Hole.

See why they call it the Blue Hole.

We take a dip here, and it is really, really cold!

We check out some of the nearby lava fields.

One of the Sisters

Somehow, we make our way to Breitenbush Hot Springs.

Our cabin

Good news!

HOT WATER!

Next stop was Bagby Hot Springs.

Asa in the big log.

Bagby's old ranger station.

Asa eliminating all those free radicals.

One of the soaking logs in the Bagby Bath House.

Shower Falls at a camp ground just down the trail from Bagby.

We make our way to Mt. Hood, and the Timberline Lodge.

A WPA project that was completed in 1936.

Mt. Hood

We are scheduled to catch the red-eye flight out of Portland, so in order to freshen up from the days exertions, we kinda steal a shower from the spa at the Timberline and cleaned up very nicely.
