There was a great meal at the DeLucas, and Sunday was a wonderful day of worship at Cascade Presbyterian. We awake Monday to some unusual snow in Eugene. It was a rare snow day in the Williamette Valley.
This is the Parkers' back yard, with about 6 inches of snow.

Kyle has found a new way to shovel snow.
Fresh snow! Looks like it needs some kids to leave their marks.
Master Jack is doing his part.

Next stop, Burrito Boy to pick up some tasty grub as we eat lunch with John and Nadine De Bruin.

About a month and a half later, on February 2, 2009, we lost friend and elder, John DeBruin. He is now free of earthly pains and with his Lord and Savior. I, and all the folks at Cascade Presbyterian Church in Eugene, will miss him and pray that the Lord will give Nadine peace.
